Let's start with common sense. Generally, when something goes wrong in your body there's a reason for it. It doesn't matter WHAT it is, whether it's cancer or heart disease or diabetes OR hair loss. The human body is designed to work, and it's designed to heal itself. ANY disease or condition is a manifestation of something being wrong in the body.

That being said, there are sometimes genetic reasons or environmental reasons for particular diseases and conditions that can be a factor. But before getting into that, it's important to work out what you CAN control, and focus there.

The main things you can control are: diet, exercise, personal care, rest and relaxation, and sleep. Okay, if you're the mother of a newborn baby then sleep may not be that easy!

As for diet, you need to focus on fresh, whole foods. There are no absolute hard and fast rules here except to mostly choose food that LOOKS like REAL food. This means primarily plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables!! If you choose to eat meat that's fine, but make sure it's organic and grass fed IF POSSIBLE. There are lots of hormones in modern meat (designed to make the animal grow faster) and these can have a deleterious effect on the human body.

Next, exercise. The most basic exercise is walking in the fresh air (if you can't get out a treadmill works... but it comes a distant second). It's important to GET OUTSIDE! One of the most important vitamins that so many people are deficient in is Vitamin D which is synthesised in the body after exposure to sunlight. Get some sun!! Seriously, the human race wouldn't exist without sun, so it's not the enemy. Sure you don't want to get sunburn and skin cancer, so ensure you expose yourself for a limited amount of time at the hottest part of the day in summer, but when the weather is cooler, try and expose as much of your body as possible to the sun!

Rest/relaxation/sleep... all are incredibly important. Many women just don't get enough of any of these. What with our jobs, our kids, hour homes, there's just not enough hours in the day to get it all done! However, it's really important to MAKE time to relax. Stress is a major cause of hair loss! Sleep is also vital. Try and ensure you get at least 7 to 8 hours of quality sleep EACH NIGHT. This will truly make a huge difference!

I would say all these things are KEY. For extra information and extra help, you can get the ebook Unravel the Mysteries of Female Hair Loss, and/or try Provillus, which has helped many women with their thinning hair issues.
